Temtor

Had an amazing experience watching this movie together with a room full of creative and inspiring people. Experience so good that we got together afterwards and talked it over for hours

The voice acting was great, the writing was funny, the music was catchy and insantly iconic (some songs are still stuck in my head), the sound mixing was immersive, the painted backgrounds are beautiful, the compositing was sublime, and the animation was AMAZING.

I visited the main animation studio behind this movie a couple of times and the atmosphere was always outstanding. The animators were such awesome people, especially the guy with the dark grey cap.

Do I recommend this movie? 100%

I get why people on here don't like this movie as much as other Disney animated movies, but writing aside, I think this movie just lacks time. It feels like they tried to cram a 5/6 episode miniseries into a 2 hour movie. Because it's so rushed you don't really get to know the characters very well, which there are too many of for a movie this short in my opinion. Now of course, it would be way too expensive to make an animated show of this visual grade, but I think it would've been better like that in this case. The first thing I thought when I was halfway through the movie was: "This really just feels like Disney is applying for a artistic animation job and this their portfolio"

But heck, even after that I loved this movie and it only gets better upon watching it multiple times. Acting was great, it has an interesting story and the visuals are beautiful. So much potential.
