This show got up to a good start. However after episode 7 it started getting repetitive. First and foremost I want to say that this show looks amazing. The way it is shot and everything about the sets are amazing. The music and the costumes all immerse you in the world.
Secondly, the characters, more specifically the ALPS, are the most annoying and useful characters in the show. They did not need to be there and could have been replaced by alp arslan brothers or something else. Nothing made me care for them and I skipped there bits.
They went away from history which is fine but these Turkish shows always glamorise the hero. They make other characters bad to make the hero look very good. Alp arslan has the front line and no one else. It is annoying that no one else is built up and developed.
The ending was good I liked it. But would have been better if I didn't have to spend 27 episodes, all nearly 2 hours and 30 minutes long finishing it. With a lot of them just useless and filler plots.

The problem with this show is it's lack of storytelling. There is nothing driving the plot, no intrigue, no suspense and no tension. The story never moves forward and the writer adds villains who end up dying and doing nothing.
What this series needs is a clear story. Some good character development. Not unnecessary fight scene and stupid bad guys who get defeated easily. I don't have a problem with characters close to osman dying but their death seems forced and not impactful.
Osman is a copy and paste from Ertugrul and needs to Learn from Great Seljuks and Destan for good story telling.
In the end this lifeless series with lifeless characters is boring and repetitive with nothing making me want to watch. Please finish this season with a twist and regroup and think of a amazing season 4 that will redeem the show. Good villains good characters and most importantly a good plot.

In my eyes this show lacked structure. It follows a simple narrative and tells a good story however the pacing is off and things just happen. You never see the effect they have or really see the aftermath at all. However I do think that it is entertaining and engaging. It is not a documentary, but a tv show so some aspects are made up.
This show is still good and enjoyable. The costumes and sets are amazing I think. Some characters had some really good debt in them and i was interested to see more.
In the end I recommend this show. It is good at what is does and gives you a brief 8 episode drama that you can enjoy.
I hoped they showed Babur as a ruthless person and not like a perfect nice guy and I hoped shaibani was shown as the Islamic person he was.
But still it's good.
Trust me I hope they improve the fight scenes in the next season.
