Honestly, what is wrong with authenticity. There is no way in seven hells that the FBI would tolerate their methodology, their clothing, and the casual attitudes. I like Neicy Nash. But she's so over-the-top in this show that I feel like I'm watching Reno 911. She skirts decorum and conduct that mandated by the FBI, from my understanding, is very strict. Furthermore, what is the deal with the activist dad and his crew of former civic disobedients? The running theme of the show is that she wants to alter the FBI from the inside. How does a fifty year old highschool guidance counselor do that in the brief time she'll be allotted before mandatory retirement? It just doesn't add up. This show is straight up bad.
I really hated this through the first four episodes. And I considered quitting it altogether, however I began to warm up to the storyline and its characters. Leslie Bibb's Satan is a riot and I loved the depiction of God as a grandmotherly nurse. Furthermore, its message that all faiths are equally right is refreshing considering how polarized the actual world feels. For that I give this a strong 6.
