I really liked this film; it was well written and paced. It kept your attention and built suspense well. It was well worth the rental and the time - settle back and enjoy!
John Schneider has hit on a winning formula with recent films. It shows in this film which is fast and fun throughout. Not being from the US, I had to watch it a couple of times before I understood all the dialogue (an obsession with ears being attached to heads was the only thing I understood the first time around in all the CB talk), but the film just gets better each time I watch it!
Yes, they made it on a tight budget, but it's tightly edited, well paced, I love the music. I know it's a low budget indie film, but I like that it's not "Hollywood perfect" - it's a more interesting watch - imo.
Kudos to the actors (love Tyrus and Mindy) and it's cool that the film's supporters get a role too. I first watched because I am a Schneider fan, but Cody McCarver as the laconic Roy has a new fan now. If you want to kick back and watch a fun film; this is it.

I love this film; it's touching, warm and funny. Partly based on the recent events in John Schneider's life (which would have broken someone any less nuts than Schneider), the film charts the main protagonists struggle to keep his beautiful Louisiana property after the 2016 floods (2 major floods). I love Schneider's humour and honesty in this film. In part it's sad, but mostly it's uplifting with common sense and plain goodness running throughout it. A great watch which puts a smile on your face.
