Parasyte is a wonderfully sad series.
As an audience we follow Shinichi Izumi, a normal human who has so much to look forward to.
However, the parasites invade.
Following the plot gave me one of the most incredibly dramatic stories I've watched. I never tend to cry watching shows. This one broke me.
The soundtrack is one of the most fitting i've seen in a series. Specifically the opening works wonders.
Overall, we get to see our main character slowly lose his human traits and feelings-something we all experience. However, it's the journey of him re-finding his true nature that makes this series unique and beautiful.
There are so many heart-felt moments that make the gore of the series worth it. I highly advise watching this show. It taught me a lot about how I view people and society as a whole.

No love story should be this good, right?
Wrong.
The concept of "Love is War" is a very creative concept in relationships that kind of makes sense when you think about it.
More importantly, the kindling love between Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya is very cleverly written. Watching them interact is just cute and makes you want more. Amazingly for how opposite they are, they have a great chemistry that drives the plot.
The side characters Fujiwara, Ishigami, Miko, and others all have their own stories that are explored. This keeps the show invigorating and releases pressure on the main characters.
Along with plot, Love is War utilizes a spectacular soundtrack that fits the show well.
Not to mention, the animation is astounding. Absolutely some of the best i've seen alongside One Punch Man (s1). The animation makes many moments much more tense for the audience and helps establish many moments that makes the series wonderful.
Love is War is by far one of my favorite shows to ever have the pleasure of watching. There are only a few shows I have to read ahead on, and this is one of them. Watch it if you want a romance worth watching.

I'm impressed with how amazing this show is.
A modern day version of Sherlock wouldn't seem to be a good idea, but it's crazy how this show captivates you.
There are many genuinely hilarious moments throughout the show, and the writes knew how to keep you attentive.
Using Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock is one of the best actor choices I've seen for a role. He's able to play a psychopath scarily well. Martin Freeman does an astounding job playing support character John Watson.
Other than a few CGI scenes and some plot developments I personally disliked, this show is seriously one of the best remakes of the classic Sherlock Holmes we all know and love.
