This episode does a great job at introducing the different characters and the world the characters live in. The episode also creates and shows the master fully created aesthetics of the show, and also shows the world building, with the top side and undercity. It's already clear in this episode that every character has a vastly different personality. Speaking about the different characters, they are all so well made, with each and every one of them feeling like a person. Of course there is also the art style, which at the time of writing this review has become a style used for multiple different shows, movies and even video games, but when this episode released, the shows take on cel shading was something completely new, which gives the show bonus points. But it's not only the art style that shines in this show, the animation is incredible as well, with every character being animated in a really realistic way, which is especially clear in the fighting scene Midway through the episode, with the characters fighting in a way that looks so real, not landing every hit and just generally fighting in a way that looks real. There's a lot more to tell about the episode, but explaining the entire episode when you could just go watch it would be unfavorable. 10/10.
This episodes is the best episode of the entire show and some of the best media I have ever seen, unironically. I enjoyed every single minute of this absolute masterpiece. This episode is by far out of every episode the most wierd, insane episode of them all. If you prefer when shows and episodes are just a little bit normal and sane, this episode is not for you. I believe no words or sentences can describe this episode. This is as crazy as it gets. When i watched it for the first time i only heard about 75% of all the dialogue, because i laughed so much i missed a lot, but the episode still made as much sense to me as it can possibly make sense to anybody. This is definitely the best one in my opinion, or at least my favorite. But why did they have to fire Tyler though :(
Smiling friends season 2 started off with a blast of an episode, this episode was definitely one of the episodes i laughed the most at while watching. I was a little bit nervous after watching multiple sneak peeks from season 2 because there was no clips where any of the characters would mumble and interrupt each other to make it feel like a real life conversation in a cartoon, which is one of the things that makes the show stand out the most to other cartoons and gives the show it's charm, but i was relieved after watching the episode as this episode not only kept that, but was extremely hilarious and had as much charm as any of the season 1 episodes has, and i even consider it to be one of the best episodes in the show so far. The episode doesn't do anything that makes it stand out from season 1 and i'm happy about that. Not that it wouldn't be cool for the show to try something new, but honestly i feel like the show does that all of the time.
10/10 episode, can't wait to see what the rest of season 2 is going to offer.
