Tldr: Salma's expanded role brought great energy and humor, but the predictable plot needs significant improvement for a sequel to succeed.
I'm glad they gave Salma more screen time and made her a more central character in the story. It made it way more fun and made me laugh more. Her chemistry with the other two characters was perfect. She brought such a lively, chaotic energy that really elevated every scene she was in. Her timing was spot on, and the way she delivered her lines had me cracking up. I might be able to watch a whole movie just centered around her character.
If they ever do a sequel, though, they need to improve the plot and story line. It is predictable and boring. While the cast carried the humor well, the story felt like it was just going through the motions. There were no real surprises or twists that made it stand out from the crowd. A tighter script with more creativity and depth would really help. I'd still watch it, but only because of the cast.
Ultimately a solid 6.5 out of 10 stars.

Tldr; "Strong start, messy finish-JPN gore fans might still enjoy a one-time watch at home."
It is slightly lethargic, but the opening and mid-acts were marvelous. However, the Final Act/Final Third of the film turns into a downward shiz show. But if you are into Japanese Horror Gore B films, you will love it.
Honestly, the entire film feels like an American take on JPN Gore with a female empowerment message. Yet the final act makes that message unsatisfying.
Speaking of which, this is not for little girls or kids, but plenty of nudity and blood. No hardcore sx scenes though.
Yet I loved the retro EDM-based OST and the acting of the 2 female leads-the supporting cast members also pulled their own weight.
It's worth a one-time watch at home or movie theatres if you get a 2D IMAX version or Dolby Atmos version (but if it's just standard viewing, just pass on it and watch at home).

Tldr; If you loved Winter Soldier, you'll love this-packed with peak action and Top Gun-like moments, though it has some slow political scenes and weaker side characters.
To me, this was very similar to The Winter Soldier, the second Captain America movie, but definitely better than The First Avenger. Any average rating outside of that is just criminal, and people are trolling at that point.
If you didn't like Winter Soldier, then you aren't going to like this. But if you loved it, time to strap in and enjoy yourself in the movie theatre because I sure did (totally worth it). I loved the peak action and top gun-like moments.
The only downside is that it did have a couple of slow political moments, which is hard to avoid considering President Thaddeus Ross was heavily involved in this film and that it is a continuation of the Falcon-Winter Soldier TV series.
Also, the support characters weren't as strongly developed as in Winter Soldier because they had an additional film in First Avengers to flesh them out, plus a TV series. Brave New World only has a TV series to get them going. So, hopefully, the second Brave New World film can fix that somehow.
EDIT: PS. If you have to choose between IMAX 2D, IMAX 3D, or RealD 3D; go with IMAX 2D. Just a overall better picture quality and sound, the RealD 3D just looks fuzzy even though they have better seats sometimes. Also this movie wasn't optimized for 3d viewing, so IMAX 3D rarely adds depth to it, if not just some distractions, and reduced quality during action scenes.
