If you genuinely (secretly) like disaster movies like 2012, go ahead. Don't trust the global rating, read the comments. It's everything you can expect from a movie of the kind. Yes, It's reusing all the disaster movies codes but also explore new angles, the story is shaped a bit differently. The actors are not dislikable. The humour without being good is not terrible.
CGIs - with a couple of exception - are decent (which is important because it covers 95% of the movie even when not really necessary). At first I was finding everything predictable (again what do you expect?) but got more and more surprised along the way.

This is the most beautiful love story I've seen on screen. Truly heartbreaking.
