  • Part one was promising, this second part disappointed me

My opinion on Dune part 2? Not bad, but not so good.

I see an inconclusive meatloaf, full of religious extremism, lacking in philosophy and poetry. I have noticed a lack of explanations and details of the story, and no real introduction to the wonderful world in which the story takes place.

Visually nothing to complain about, but the story seems weak to me, not very deep and not at all clear in many aspects.

The actors emerge, but it wasn't enough for me to leave the cinema satisfied.

The first part of Dune was barely promising, it hinted a potential, unfortunately not fully realized in this second part.

  • Exciting and well structured serie

This is a TV series that I discovered late. Fringe blends science fiction, mystery, and thrilling storytelling without falling into excesses... they remain balanced on the fringe, it can be said. Fringe hooks its viewer you with intricate plotlines and intriguing characters. The show's exploration of parallel universes, fringe science, and the unexplained phenomena keeps you on the edge of your seat, constantly craving for more. The talented cast, led by Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, and John Noble, delivers very good performances, bringing depth and complexity to their roles. The writing is intelligent and thought-provoking, delving into moral dilemmas and existential questions without putting aside lightness and humor. The visual effects and production design are top-notch for the time, creating a visually stunning and immersive world... better, two parallel worlds. Fringe is a must-watch for fans of sci-fi and those who appreciate a well-crafted, mind-bending narrative.

  • A good film, with an extraordinary Barry Keoghan

Saltburn give me a feeling of already seen, already explored. Nothing to say that it is well directed and has first-rate actors well dropped in their characters, but I believe that much of my postive rating depends on Barry Keoghan's presence. Oliver, his characters in Saltburn, is a sort of centre of gravity for the story. All turn around him, he is a sort of Black Hole, a powerfull element of attraction and destruction. With his engaging and passionate acting, Keoghan brings his character to life, captivating the audience with his raw talent and emotional depth. His ability to show a wide range of emotions, from vulnerability to harshness, adds a layer of authenticity to the film. His on-screen presence is magnetic, drawing viewers in and keeping them invested in his character's journey. His chemistry with the rest of the cast is palpable, creating compelling dynamics and enhancing the overall storytelling. I think that whitout Barry Keoghan as Oliver, Saltburn would have been a good film, but not too good to be noticed. With him, it deserves to be seen and recommended.

  • a simple story, two excellent actors, good direction

I really appreciate films that tell stories in a touching and simple way. In this Mammal succeeds very well. It's a story about people we might know, who might be our neighbors, or ourselves. It's a simple, direct, frank story. No morals, laws and filters, just instinct and almost primordial feelings. A story of contrasts, especially regarding the female protagonist. A woman evidently devoid of maternal instinct, but not insensitive. A story, especially for the boy, at least partly of redemption. I enjoyed spending time with Margareth and Joe and sharing their lives. Very good acting, excellent directing. There is no need for excessive dialogues and soundtracks for those who know how to direct and recite glances and silences. Could it have been a better film? Perhaps. But it certainly didn't disappoint me.

  • What remain for me is disappointment and confusion

A sterile film, without heart or soul. Story and plot incomprehensible to me, flat acting without strength, neither the ability to involve and excite. I see this film as an exercise in style that has gotten out of control. I loved Interstellar, but in Tenet I felt nothing but confusion, perplexity and disappointment. Technically nothing to complain, however. It may be enough for some that Tenet is a well-shot film, but for me it was a total disappointment.
