I had high hopes for this movie. I love Soderbergh, but this didn't land for me. I gave up after half an hour. And maybe it's one of those things where "oh episode 4 really takes off so stick with it" but movies leave me with even less patience. And this dialogue was so dreary.
You are guaranteed to cry in this one, so keep tissues handy. This movie highlights and underlines the unbreakable bond between mothers and daughters... but it's not only for women (the men in my fam equally enjoyed it) and that's how you know you're watching something great. There aren't many movies like this one so it is very refreshing. If you're looking for a heartwarming, powerful story you've got to see this.
This movie takes you through all the emotions and does it well. It feels very authentic. I found this movie eye opening to the inner struggles people go through with cancer, but hide so well on the outside. I laughed a bit but cried way more. I recommend to anyone looking for a heartfelt movie.
