After one of the best TV episodes of the year Dexter follows up with another brilliant masterpiece and cements its status as the best new show of the year!
After Dexter reveals himself being still alive to Harrison, at first he is not pleased about it. But Dexter doesn't give up and when he gets the opportunity to save Harrison by stashing some evidents of the hotel murder into Mia's appartement, he shows his brilliance again. At first he thought Mia could be a potential love interest for him, but as he finds out she kills for the fun and honestly has no code, he quits and decides to kill her. But that would be a bit too much after his latest kill. Two dead serial killers of the Prater Gang could possibly turn the lights on him. And Leon Prater is no one to mess with.
With Dexter calling the police to arrest Mia, he saved Harrison from the police. Harrison is thankful for that and the two improved their father and son relationship.
Wow, this is the midseason finale and we've already got so much brilliance!!! I really hope Showtime keeps going with this and this time finishes the show on a good and satisfying way. Dexter has earned it.

Dexter Resurrection takes its name personally and resurrects Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, Peter Dinklage and Kristen Ritter from the abyss to take part in the best show of 2025. This is insane!!!
With the new secret group of serial killers, there is a whole new perspective on this show. Dexter meets the top of the top of serial killers and the little man who organizes the meetings and collects trophies from famous killers. And of course he has Dexters blood print collection!!
Dexter disguises himself as Robert Schmidt, the Dark Passenger and for now they believe him. But I am sure the little man will find out his true identity and this moment will be huge. At the end Dexter kills one of them and reveals his identity as the Bay Harbour Butcher. You could really see the fear in the serial killers eyes!!
Dexter is back in business and he is hunting for the biggest fish now! I love this idea of a man who collects the trophies and meets the serial killers. It has never been done before.
But that's not all. Angel visits Harrison and convinces him that his dad is a bad guy. Harrison wants to turn himself in, but right before the police station Dexter is here to stop him!!! Now father and son finally meet again!!
What a brilliant episode, the best so far. If this continues on that level it will make television history!

I never understood why every animated piece has to be turned into a live-action version nowadays. Big parts of what made these shows and movies so great, were the fact, that they were animated. Believe it or not, but animation opens the doors for ridiculous things you could never do in live action.
After having seen the first episode of the One Piece Live action remake, I feel myself confirmed. This is nothing near the anime and it will never become! Some characters look completely different, some have changed their skin colour too as it seems. The dialogue feels completely off and the humour misses as well.
Then, without the original music the show lacks a huge part of what makes the anime great.
The reason why it is still rated this high is a rather sad one. Most of the people watching this show have never seen an episode of Eichiro Odas masterpiece. Now, even if they decide to watch the anime, they are scarred for their lives.
