The plot got me hooked from the first episode, which is rare for a k drama, so points for that. It's the kind of show that doesn't let you get bored or feel like using your phone while watching, it truly pulls you in. The revenge plot was well executed, and the acting of the villain was top notch. I think this drama shows how rejection and humiliation can drive people into insanity and pure evil, so I love how deeply the villain's backstory was portrayed . That said, the ending felt rushed and the romance between the leads wasn't properly developed. The chemistry was a bit off too.
Watch the first and second seasons, but skip the third one. It is disappointing and ridiculous. I'm aware that most of the plot is nonsensical, yet it was fun trash, exciting things happening. Season 3 just couldn't pull that off. The least the writers could have done was give the main characters q decent, happy ending. Instead, they delivered one the very worst endings in the history of k dramas.
If I could give this zero stars, I definitely would. The whole Kissing Booth trilogy is horrible, but at least the first two movies were fun. This one isn't even fun trash anymore. What a waste of time.
