This is the kind of movie that Prithviraj had promised during conception......small film with big names.
The performances were adequate........Mohanlal showing flashes of his legendary comic skills....but it was Lalu Alex who had the meatiest part.
The only portion off was Soubin Shahir's track as the event manager (not for any fault of his) but due to uninspired writing.
Overall, a good fun watch!

AGRAJAN for its time should at least have been a SLEEPER HIT. Will always be remembered as DENNIS JOSEPH's final directorial. Technically, movie wasn't great but still lasts the test of time in terms of its tight screenplay.
The cast was just about okay except for THILAKAN (stellar performance) and RAJAN P DEV (insane comic relief).

This is one of the few movies that serve as a guilty pleasure for the 80s kids. I really miss this kind of cinema nowadays - Malayalam does churn out some great movies these days. But this is the kind of cinema that infuses nostalgia in you.
Great story, screenplay by the ever-great DENNIS JOSEPH. Directed by the ever reliable JOSHI. And, what a star cast, MOHANLAL leads the way along with MG. SOMAN, JAYABARATHI, INNOCENT, JAGATHY, RAJU, JAGADISH, SUMALATHA, ASHOKAN, SUCHITRA (in her debut) and MAMMOOTY (you know it was coming).
Watch it, anyday.
