First of all, I started the series with the intention of watching song Jung ki, but jeon yeo been came as a complete surprise. Unlike the name of the series suggests, the series doesn't focus only on the two main leads and the antagonists, but the entire cast is beautifully explored and fleshed out, it makes you attached to each and every named character in the series, so there is no dull moment in the entire 20 episode length. The show gets out chuckles more than a few times every episode, it perfectly balances the humour with the gritty and serious premise of the story. The humour is very well written and lands perfectly all the time.
Lastly the cinematography is gorgeous, the costumes are gorgeous, the background score is beautiful and epic. I would put the background score of Vincenzo on the same pedestal as Goblin series. The chemistry between the lead pair of song Jung ki amd jeon yeo been is perfect to the last thread. Vincenzo & hong cha young is my favourite lead romantic pair of all the dramas I have watched, and I have watched a fair share of dramas. The chemistry between them and the relationship they share grows so organically and naturally that I was surprised at how great their relationship is written, hats off to the team of writers. All the actors did their part perfectly, but the main leads, both the protagonists and antagonists, hit it out of the park.
The dialogues are really good. They never feel cheesy, but fit the situations perfectly.

Recently I was deep down into the rabbit hole of depression as I could not clear the entrance exam for which I had been preparing for 2 years. Medicines weren't helping much, and therapy is quite costly. My parents were worried about me too. Then I came across a clip of this anime on YouTube, it was ren-chon's famous song about the quack Doctor. I binge watched the series 2 times, and it helped me get myself together. I got a part time job and am looking forward to further improve myself. This anime and its characters will always stay in my heart, they are more than some fictional drawings for me, they helped me like real friends.
