I remember, Last time Rick and Morty had an episode concluding preceding season's cliffhanger we were blessed with goddamn rickshank rickdemption.
Felt too passive.
Praying for season1 esque catchlines🤞.
RIP Apocalypse Jerry( The Rickest Jerry), original Summer and Beth too.
All this show need are the previous writers. Me personally, I would likely welcome the season 1-2 janky animation with no complain. Dialogues, imo they went hand to hand along the rough animation.
On paper,11 episodes do sounds like a bummer. Better be jammed.

Correct me if I'm wrong weren't Diane and Beth were victims of the thing in the garage or the other Diane(s) are dying of other causes.
