Just managed to catch this yesterday on Netflix. 20 minutes into the movie and I noticed something familiar. Serial killer and his sister works for the police force. He kills only bad guys, in this case drug related ones, a police colleague suspects him as the killer and desperately looking for evidence and waiting for him to slip up and......plastic sheets. One of the props Dexter uses for his kills.
But this Malay Dexter is hot tempered and Sheriff is the cool one instead. All in all, this movie has a good production value. Good acting by leads. I would recommend this movie if you like Polis Evo minus the comic relief.

Are these people who gave high rating watch the same movie? I'm interested to catch this cos it Robert Altman and the good reviews here. But it took me days to finish watching the whole movie. So many characters has gotten me confused. All the characters have no depth. Jeff Goldblum just rides motorcycle, Shelley Duvall just hangs around with her big hair. Ronee Blakley acting is better in A Nightmare on Elm Street. Scott Glen is just there, hardly speaks. Geraldine Chaplin talks too much. Keith Carradine sleeps around. The storyline doesn't connect. One moment you're in a church, the next in a junkyard and next is a race car track. Honestly I either don't care or annoyed with the characters in the movie. This is like Pret A Porter with big name, no strong storyline but worse. Short Cuts is my only favourite movie from Robert Altman. Same concept but way much better. No other movies can top Short Cuts.
