After watching the first movie I felt like it was unnecessary for them to make a second movie and that it made no sense for them to make a sequel in the first place but in this movie 2 divers discover the Orca boat and fine out that theres another shark roaming around the ocean
chief killed the shark from the first movie how is it still alive unless this is one of the offspring's from the first shark and was able to reproduce but I feel like that's very unlikely.
One of the few things that they did was kept John Williams to compose the music agian and brought back Roy Scheider as chief Brody again for the sequel other then that the movie itself was no suspenseful or memorable as its predecessor but it's a decent sequel and a much better sequel then the other Jaws Flims
If your a fan of Jaws or love sharks in general you will love Jaws 2.

I was lucky enough for my grandparents to buy the tickets as soon as possible thankfully they did and I was able to see it the day it came out July,2 watching it was a exhilarating experience I love all the horror aspects and the action and adventure feelings to it I have to say that I love how it was set with the waterfalls and the jungle landscapes based on some South American environments. Scarlett Johnson and Jonathan Bailey we're great in this movie and I love all the new dinosaurs species especially Delores the Aquillops she was so cute I wish I was able to keep her as a pet for myself if I was one of characters in the movie. I do like the design colors for the new Dino species, Spinosarus's had a unique yellow, brown like coloring and I thought the Mutadons were really cool looking a lot like a dragon but there a mutated version mix between a pterosaur and a raptor. Then last but not least we have the D- Rex (Distortus Rex) a genetic dinosaur experiment gone wrong looking like a Xenomorph mix with the rancor from Star Wars,it also has a head that looks like a beluga whale. That creature was ugly and big as hell! . I felt like there were to much Easter eggs and References to other pop culture films like Jaws among others. I wish they added new original ideas instead of rip-offing and referencing other movie content. I didn't care much about the other characters other then the 2 I mention before.another thing disappointing that I wish they did was give the velociraptors more screen time there were new variants with orange and blue facial markings and they only appeared once throughout the whole movie I wish I can see more screentime with the Raptors. My favorite scene throughout the entire movie was the T-Rex River Raft sequence it was scary and so thrilling to watch the design of the T-Rex and how massive and big it is was astonishing to see and was great CGI animation. Fun fact the scene was heavily based on the original JP Novel!!!!. As a whole overall It wasn't bad but not as spectacular as its predecessor but in comparison I liked it a bit better then JW: Dominion in my opinion Highly recommend best movie of the summer this year.
