This is her another example of writers putting their political agenda ahead of the story and characters.
Instead of hiring people who are not capable for the job because they tick a box, how about start by hiring people who can actually carry a show like this, you know, somebody funny.
It's cringe and not the good kind, it's not funny, and it'll hopefully be forgotten about. The sad thing is the studios and executives who keep allowing this crap to be made will probably not learn their lesson and keep doing it.
Yet another example of politics over art. Representation means nothing of the media it exists within is bad, people have no issue with women or with different races, but when that's your focus instead of the pure intention of just trying to create something enjoyable, it's going to suffer. Your job as a writer or TV show creator is to create something to be enjoyed, nothing more, nothing less, there can be messages within that which usually comes naturally, but I should never be your focus.

You like Redbar? Their early work was a little too edgelord for my taste. But when Jules came on in 2016, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole show has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the show a big boost. He's been compared to Howard Stern, but I think Redbar has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In 2019, mike trolled Joey Diaz his most accomplished endeavor to date. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "The Delia tapes" An episode so funny, most people probably don't listen to the underlying message. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends. It's also a personal statement about Redbar itself.
I thought Bill Murray had died, apparently not. Now I wish he had. His acting was awful, was he in the middle of intense, onset dementia episode during the filming of this movie? Did he even know he was on a film set? Or was this another day at the home for him, what is happening anymore. I don't know and Bill certainly doesn't know.
