The idea that this movie holds is kind of classic, cop trys to save his family from being murdered. However, the twist in the timeline of the story pulled my mind with ease and keep interested all the way through the ending. Very good idea to take the classic police detective story and merge it with a time traveler obsession; to undo what has been done. Most of the acts spark adventure and encourage the viewer to keep watching. The film also build direction in exposing the societal corruption that many people must endure on a daily basis and some family have suffered the ultimate tragic events.
The story is about taking vengeance against evil. This is a classic story with a unique feel and a lot of potential. However, I did find it to develop too quick with sloppy fight scenarios. Most of the fighting had a one man wrecking crew destroying a platoon of soldiers. These overloaded 1 vs 10 fights made considering the fighting legitimate, out of the question and instead leave the it on a scale with impossible. Without legitimate fighting, the movie gave me a feeling of "no mercy" mixed with "mission impossible" and "john wick". This will go down as just another movie under the cinematics by Jason Statham.
