Severance is great and beautiful, but sorry, you are not Better Call Saul. Half of this episode's run time would be gone if they took out all the long shots of staring and driving. The reveal is cool, but not "wow, that's unbelievable!" cool. I guess it should be expected to have at least 1 meh episode this season and I imagine the rest will be peak.
I just wonder when directors and producers make episodes like this. Do they actually think people want to watch something this slow? They have to know that what they're making is mostly filler with one big reveal. It's not just this show either, but I guess it will always be a thing in television.

This is easily one of the best episodes of television all year. While the episodes prior weren't anything extraordinary, the domino effect of events leading to this phenomenal episode left me so extremely satisfied, despite it not going exactly how i envisioned it would.
The entire interview sequence is super engaging and edge of your seat stuff, with some really amazing lines and delivery from Alex Hassell, who is the standout of this show. The cast for this show is really great and it takes all of the best parts of shows like The White Lotus, Succession and The Gentlemen. Can't wait to see where it goes from here.

Normally I hate it when finale episodes are solely for build up, but man this is one of the best build up episodes I have ever seen. Some of the most engaging conversations and character resolutions are in this episode, along with some of the most emotional scenes we have seen so far. While this season has been smooth although occasionally rocky, I imagine next season will blow this one out of the water.
The montage near the end of this episode was so good and it just got me so pumped for the future of house of the dragon. This would have lowkey been the perfect season if they cut 2 of the filler episodes and put in whatever the first 2 episodes of the next season would be. Now THAT would be good television.
