Don't get me wrong the movie has it's moments especially the flying scenes but the rest was pretty ish. The soundtrack was absolutely awful and missing. Compared to the original, the music was much more important and made a lot of the scenes much better. The script was a typical hollywood script not that I expected more but it could've been better. Overall the movie wasn't really impactful and it is getting way to much praise this isn't a 10 star movie at all.
I read the books and the show feels a lot like the books. The main character was perfectly written and Alan Ritchson plays him just like the books, although in the show I felt like there was unnecessary dialogue. Overall the show was good even for someone who hasn't read the books, if you're looking for something to watch during the weekend this is perfect for you.
