As a woman who was not labelled as such when I was born, I had a complicated medical situation, but today's society leaves me feeling less and less worthwhile each day. I was a little concerned about this show and the first episode contained a lot of the things I was worried about, but as soon as we got past that episode it started to get more nuanced and raw and threw some really good stuff about. Honestly I am starting to feel a lot more confident about myself. Seeing Liv, so self assured, so confident and comfortable with who she is, it is really sending the message "it's okay to be who you really are" and that is something a lot of us need. I have lots of things I'm self conscious about, but I feel just a little less self conscious and feel much better about myself as each episode is aired. I love this show and I would really love to see more.
I am gradually becoming obsessed with this team. I find that their theme just popped into my head today and i only saw the movie once, two days ago. I'm thinking about Yelena and Bob and Alexei and Eva, and John and Bucky and I love these characters. They are bad people, but they also have light in them. Same as all humans, we've all done bad stuff and this movie acknowledges the reality of life. There is light and there is dark. I think I'm going to go watch this again this week.
This is like the MCU returned to pre-endgame times. No forced character inserts, no massive scale battle with thousands of irrelevant people, all those MCU tropes that are becoming so tired, are not in here. There's some comedy but it's subtle.

It's just generally frustrating. The characters have this long dialogue to tell you something that you just saw with your own eyes. They then tell you about a thing that you just did. Then when the characters tell you how to do a thing and a tutorial appears right after telling you the same thing again. EVEN THOUGH it tells you what button to press every single time you stand in front of an object. There's just too much dialogue and slow unnecessary animations for stuff, the game simply does not respect the players time. Especially since this whole mechanic of creating objects just serves to get in the way of traditional zelda gameplay, where i have to figure out how to kill the urchin CREATIVELY rather than just push it with a shield or poke it with a blade. Zelda has arms, she is capable of holding a shield and is capable of holding a blade, but no, she is a girl so she is only allowed to use magic and stay at a distance.
