Throughout these 20 episodes I found AOT to still be very good, but not living up to the masterpiece that was the previous season. However, it is this episode that forced me to take a step back and rethink my opinion on it.
SPOILERS FROM HERE ON OUT
First off, they've practically created a whole new "Basement Reveal" with Eren. Because from what I can gather, it seems like he was the mastermind behind the entire plot. It really makes me wonder what his intentions truly are and what he plans to do with the power of the Founder. I hope they can live up to that. I also wonder how long he's known about these memories. I assume he probably learnt them at some point after the basement reveal, where his character changes drastically and leads to his choices in Marley.
Next I want to talk about Zeke and Grisha. Just wow. I absolutely loved their dynamic in this episode. Grisha's final breakdown at the end of the episodes is one of the most emotional moments of the series and plays so well with the amazing ost and the way Grisha moves. By far my favourite part of the episode.
This all leads me to wonder what will happen next. I'm assuming that Eren begins the Rumbling but still I don't understand why. We'll see then. I hope the next episodes can live up to the newfound hype this show has built up to me that I haven't felt since the earlier seasons. Well done MAPPA and Isayama.

I have no complaints with this episode. It's perfect. The plot, the animation, the score, the voices, the small details - everything is amazing. I cannot wait to see where this show goes next.
