Hockey, cottage country, a cast of quirky, loveable characters... Wash Up has all the elements of a perfect flick to snuggle up to as you scarf down Timbits and process your quarter life crisis.
Though told through the lens of minor league hockey, Mason's story is relatable for anyone who's ever reached a fork in the road or questioned whether they were on the right path (ie. Everyone, everywhere). The gorgeous shots of rural Ontario act as a balm for any existential dread brought on by said identity crises, and the soundtrack features original local music to boot!
11/10 recommend donning your comfiest long johns and throwing this on the next time you need a dose of cinematic comfort.
