How to define a movie that ticks so many boxes and so well? Cinematic comfort food.
Fairly predictable journey, knowing what will happen, but the fun was in the who and how; forget why; classic maguffin.
A tribute/cover, for want of a better term, of so many previous suspense genre pictures.
Go, enjoy, have lunch/dinner and go home.
Cinema, to me, should be refreshing and this was. A nice cold drink or snack; not heavy or tasteless or vulgar as some are wont to be; leaving one feeling rather dirty.
Fine performances and incredible set design, camera and lighting; reminded me a bit of The Menu.
