I just saw this on Hulu after watching Nicks' newest film Homeroom. Amazing dive into life at a big city/urban hospital. The patients come from all sorts of different circumstances and the staff treats them with care and compassion. Loved the verite style. Just brilliant to let the characters tell their own stories. It shows how broken our healthcare system is in the US.
This is incredible look at life at a diverse/urban high school. These amazing young kids have to deal with all sorts of challenges but they persevere and thrive. Great insight into a world that many of us never experience. Worth watching.
