It seems like they are either truly out of ideas after so many years, or they want to get back at Paramount for firing a loser (for the network monetarily and just in general with Colbert). If that's the case, Paramount still got what they wanted; 10-15 years of a damned good catalog. I really hadn't watched South Park in about a decade, but was wanting to give it a shot again. It is a shame it's a shell of what it used to be.
Damn! I truly was hoping they could capture the old magic of 20 years ago. But we know, that hardly ever happens. They used to would at least show both sides of ludicracy, but now seem scared. They are even stealing from their movie from 1999! So just say Trump bad, and the awards will come. Remember all those jokes about Biden and Kamala? Me neither. Nthing to mine out of those two.
It seems they've become fixated on one thing, their TDS. I wouldn't mind, but they usually at least try to be a teensy bit more factual. Only had 2 or 3 belly laughs, mainly against Noem. But all in all, mostly on the wrong side of the genius/stupid line. Here's hoping they can set aside Let's hope they can diversify some actual humour instead of beating the same dead dog over and over.
