All that buildup and this is the finished movie... Roxanne posted on social media like this was going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. In the end, it was nothing but a vehicle for her huge ego and the movie is a complete mess. I am shocked that $100,000 could be spent on something this poorly made. Perhaps she should focus on being a lawyer instead of an actress/producer/pop star because she's not that good at any of those. I feel for some of the other actors who are taking it seriously and doing the best with the cheeesy script they have, but unfortunately it falls flat and this mess is nothing but a tax write-off because there are only two ways this movie will make it's money back: no way and no how.
The Love That Would Not Die (pilot)
We had to sit through this abomination for 30 minutes at a local film festival. All the other entries were 10 minutes or less, but the showrunners felt the need to cure everyone's insomnia by playing this 30 minute acid trip at the end. People were whispering to each other, checking their watches. One guy was cleaning out his ears! Awful movie that made no sense and the guy who made it acted like he was Spielberg. Just. Plain. Awful.
Any movie with 30 producers is going to be a stinker! It means they all threw in money but don't really know how to produce anything except toilet fodder. The acting is awful, especially to of the girls. Mickey Rourke is collecting a paycheck and phoning it in. Some decent stunts but that's all I can give it. Worth passing on. Not even D-list quality.
