  • Blend of Excellence

This movies is a perfect blend of all! Music + Lyrics + Screen Play + Story + Direction + Performance of artists.

Back bone of this (ofcourse this kind of movie) is MUSIC. Ilayaraja did his best. The BGM is the best and I can give more points while comparing the earlier movie Sagara Sangamam. (Both are by Same K.Vishwanath - Ilayaraja combination).

As far as the songs and the dance sequence are really unbeatable. That Flute theme and Violin bit are best of Ilaiyaraja.

Totally an Excellent work by all genius's and their talents!!!! Don't miss this movie!!

  • Great work resembles "Amadeous"

Again a master piece from great Kala Thapasvi (in Telugu it means The person who devotes his life for arts) K.Viswanath and first (always) in my favorite directors list.

It's a story of a Great classical singer (Mammooty) and a boy who is just starting his career in classical music. But with his knowledge and talent he is in a position to overcome that legend, which couldn't be tolerated by this boy. Internally he realize the boy's talents but couldn't tolerate him anymore.

This resembles the story of "Amadeous" but developed and shot for Indian classical base and environment. Needless to say music is the back bone for this movie and in the name of K.V.Mahadevan his assistant Pugalendhi has composed all the songs. Each song is a master piece.

Radhika did her best and (after "Swathimuthyam" by K.Viswanath) she got an excellent opportunity to show her talent.

    A Worth Watching Movie!!

  • Remake of "Romancing the Stone"

Hai! I have seen this movie (In fact this is the one I have repeatedly seen number of times!!) and a fantastic work by Varma. It's the perfect blend of talented screenplay, music, artists (specially Sridevi).

In my opinion, it's a remake (or else an inspiration - a polished name for copy!!) of the English movie "Romancing the Stone" and many of the scenes are direct copy of the above one.

Excellent Work by Keeravani (Music) and Editing. Between each scene the director allow the viewer to guess and fill the gaps. It's really an excellent style and new to Indian cinema.

Paresh Rawal is at his best. BGM is also good. The song "Jamurathiri" is an evergreen melody in Telugu.
