1. The acting is really bad, whatever you are imagining it is much worse.
2. Point number one, except replace acting with script.
3. It seems like they just wanted to use the movie to make social commentary on politics, religion, and the justice system. Long dialogs that had nothing to do with anything.
4. Not worth the time.

I found it much more entertaining than most horror movies I have been watching lately. The concept is good, though it wasn't anything very original; it definitely had a "Babadook" feel, as well as a few other horror tropes. The children were great actors. It was predictable but still enjoyable. The only real criticism is that the very end was a bit cheesy and took away some of the feel of the film.
When you watch a Hallmark Christmas movie you don't expect good acting, deep storylines, or even a credible story in general; you know what you're getting and that's why you watch them. However this movie was much below usual expectations.
I've seen better acting in middle school Christmas plays, I think this was more due to bad writing and direction than it was to the actors themselves. The changes of heart weren't remotely believable, accents came and went. I kept watching though, it was a bad Christmas movie, which is all I really asked for.
