  • A Hippo Ghost Story.

If you mix Eo (2022) and A Ghost Story (2017) you get PEPE.

The hybrid Documentary/Drama/Surreal film about the ghost of one of Pablo Escobar's Hippo's narrating how he died. The hippo does not know how he can talk or who he is talking to, but he does so anyways. The ENTIRE movie YOU are the Ghost Hippo's eyes.

He sees memories where he wasn't even there.

This is why I go to the movies. Give me original stuff, stuff I've never seen before. This is it.

The first hour is the best, the second hour gets a bit boring with some humans and a "beauty pagent" scene that goes too long. Then we get the last scene. BEAUTIFUL. EVERY SCENE HERE FEELS LIKE A SCREENSAVER.

This movie could have been 90 minutes instead of 120. But I still loved it.

  • A movie from a parrallel world.

First of all, all the 1 out 10 scores and people saying its worse than the 1st are REVIEW BOMBERS!

Right through, im glad movies like this exist. Not cause its a masterpiece (not even close) but its refreshing to see regular peoples ideas with IPs do a 180, this is is a movie that should have never existed, yet it does!

    How does this movie feel?

Imagine driving home at 10pm, its rainy and you see a Video Store, you enter and in the back of this dim litted area you see a DVD with no artwork, just a paper with sharpie written "Winne The Pooh: Blood & Honey 2" you rent it cause of curiosity, you watch it in your apartment that night and think "what did I just watch?, is this real?" You talk about it the next day and no one knows what the heck you are talking about. The next day that video store is gone.

Its just...an odd experience that makes you feel you are watching something no one else knows about.

Its watchable for that! Not awful, but maybe if they dedicated at least one more year on the script this could have been really good.

Its more good than it is bad but still not where I know they want to bring thos, I see the vision getting closer, keep going guys. Bring back Eeyore for the 3rd!

  • What Star Wars should do...

This movie is a masterclass on how to do a legacy sequel DONE RIGHT.

You use a simple story with complex themes and characters. All that while establishing the new and respecting the old.

This time our protagonist is Noa, an Ape thats even younger than Ceaser was in Rise.

If I had to combine, I would say this film feels like a combination of Apocalyoto + The Green Knight. (Theres a lot of walking, horse riding, jungle settings, evil leaders, empires and themes of religion) Its not as dark as War but it is as mature. This is a fantastic movie. Not a cash grab, you can tell a lot of care went into this. Also, the CGI here is the best out of all four films.
