I really love the Alien monster, its the one monster that has yet to become humanities hero, or unlikely ally. Because fans of the horror monster genre, really just love a good anti-hero, a hero born from our nightmares in order to give us hope...
But since when, does search and rescue run around like US Marines invading foreign lands? Not only that, but they are written more like army soldiers than Marines... the way they lack any real training. Pity are only seen working out their vanity muscles, as it would have made them more believable, but then again... its hollywood.
It just goes to show, with all the money these studios throw at these productions, you can't fix the unspoken agreement of mediocrity and ineptitude that has become the norm of modern hollywood. We're peddled hotel art as fine art, and expected to not notice...
But then again, we have modern fans who will write our policy makers to write laws that protect for-profit media corporations and their copyrighted material.

Its amazing how we have normalized the mobilization of troops within our own cities against the populace. I dont believe anyone is frightened by the images of troops being mobilized in our capitol, as if practicing for coup. You train your troops for the mission they will be tasked with, so whats the mission of troops being trained in the streets of the capitol? Whatever the reason, its a dangerous game playing with a double edge sword so close to the neck.
Im glad there are those who resist the self-censorship being imposed on the for-profit corporations by the government, in the interest of its allies and partnered corporations.
Im glad south park exists, there is only so much that can be said in 20ish minutes after all, but i feel they do move the needle, even if just a bit.
