I was very confused when I saw the film 'Cowboys & Aliens' starred Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford. From the title I was expecting B-grade schlock. And don't get me wrong, I was excited by the prospect of B-Grade Schlock, but that is not at all what we have here!
This is a solid western. It's got the slow but continuously moving pace, and the delightfully violent loner leading man. It was very well acted, the dialogue was natural and flowed well. The interactions between the characters were believable, the aliens looked good, the shots of the badlands were beautiful. The lighthearted moments were appropriately placed and did not take away from the seriousness of the events.
And every one grew!

This was great. Due to current events we are consuming as much Nazi killing entertainment as we can get our hands on and this my friends , this did not disappoint.
It's so well done. It's a bit of a slow paced suspenseful grind with extremely satisfying violence enacted upon the Nazi antagonists. Extremely satisfying.
Love a violent leading man who doesn't utter a word for almost the entire movie, and love a lone protagonist against a greater force.
This is a great cathartic watch at any time, but particularly now as our neighbour to the south threatens our friends in Panama. We here in this vast, barren, northern land certainly took notes.
