This rubbish flows like diarrhoea from Canada yet again. Badly stitched together dialogue and pictures. Pictures and film which are historically and factually wrong being passed off as true and having no bearing to the story being told . Incorrect pronunciation of British Military Ranks with Americans often inserted as being British. Operation Mincemeat was a British operation and the Americans had nothing to do with it, so why are the continually depicted in the show as being so. Why are so many narrators needed just to read a script and who are of no real significance for the story. Continually showing that this was an all American war does a disservice to all the 45,400 Canadian soldiers who died in the war and never acknowledged by the makers of this garbage. It seems to be all Yank and then more Yank. Something tells me that seems to be a lot of Yanking going on.
Factual content by Dr Robert Watson regarding the age of Charles Cholmondeley and Ewen Montagu as being young 20 something was partially incorrect. Yes Cholmondeley was 26 but Montagu was actually 42 and a Lt Commander and not a Lieutenant as depicted in the film. Charles Cholmondeley was a non flying Flight Lieutenant yet his uniform displayed pilot's wings but no insignia of rank on his sleeve. . Attention to detail is obviously a lacking commodity in the production of this series.
The narrator Matt Dratva needs a lesson in pronunciation of names as he gets so many wrong. Producers please explain to him that the Americans have really stuffed up the English language and what they purport to be English is an abomination. Just pure ignorance.
Great story totally destroyed by abysmal editing and narration. This is just another in the WW2 series of documentaries churned out in bulk by these Canadian producers all suffering from the same aliment......................total crap! I just got tired looking at all the anomalies in this film and wasting my time. Lost count and interest after forty mistakes.

This is just another WWll documentary which shows places which they claim to be somewhere else. In one episode Cologne and Munich were both claimed to be Berlin. Just by showing war footage doesn't make a good documentary if what is being show is not accurate.
Look at the rubbish Hunting Hitler put to air with all the authenticity of a Superman comic. If producers wish to make documentaries, then they need to be meticulous in what the show and the commentary that goes with the vision, otherwise the story becomes just a work of fiction. There seems to be a plethora of these WWll documentaries that are not historically accurate.

Disappointing as with all these programs, editors just sitck in any old footage and try to tell you it's somewhere else. Ship docked in Naples, people left on day excursions and suddenly we are transported to Portofino some 700km to the north. Funny, I didn't notice the presence of any airport or even the Tardis sitting dockside. The editors need to get their locations correct and try not to deceive viewers with such rubbish. Parts of these documentaries are great and highlight the intricies of running such a huge cruise ship or really best described as a floating hotel. However as with such large ships, the sardine effect comes with the large number of passengers they carry. In all as Donald would say "Fake News". When you deceive viewers the you're only worth 1 star.
