  • A Fan Then & Now

One of the smart things the producers did was keep the same formula so-to-speak. I've aged since the '70s' show and it took a little time getting accustomed to the young cast. It has managed to keep my attention so far and I'm looking forward to seeing what might happen. The occasional cameos of the original cast, which I'm generally not a fan of cameos, if intertwined with the new cast it just might end up working quite well. 'The 70s Show' required watching enough to get into the groove of it and I genuinely felt emotional at the more serious dramatic times. I am older now and might not have the same sentiments with the new case, but we'll see.

  • A Lame Duck of an Uninspired Dinosaur Movie

What a horrible hunk of junk. There's nothing new except different angles of dinosaurs that look computerized 80% of the time, the animatronic heads not that great, beyond stupid scenes with the same old over-volume music scores, once again the confused young protagonist who looks like someone out of 'Stranger Things', Chris Pratt playing cowboy and rangl'in a much bigger dino-varmint with a rope while riding a horse, the kids in near peril which everyone knows will make it but had to do the zoom up to their frightened faces and screems, I could go on and on with all the rehashed stupidness. It seems the movie was created per request of the celebrities managers just to rake in some dough. It's the same over-used to nausea formula of all J. P. movies, the 1st one the only time it worked.

I've noticed or at least believe the ratings here are more accurate than on Prime, there it's almost a perfect 5 which scared me. I wondered if people have become this lame but was happy when I came here and a more believable rating exists.

  • Ah Yes, the Old Meyers Charm Has Returned.

There's no Austin Powers fan that's not going to love this, I'm one. It's funny, charming at times, ridiculous at others, light-hearted absurdity with excellent backdrops and cgi, impressive casting as well. This series will be a cult-classic. Bravo Mike Meyers and team!

  • Horribly Boring

What an expensive looking stinker this one is. It was too long, too boring, too horribly edited, and many other bad things. Kristin Wiig scenes were the only decent parts worth watching.

  • Way Overused Laugh track

The funny parts are way further apart than what that insincere, repetitive, fake sounding laugh track suggests. I wanted to give it a chance but after 5 minutes of distant trench sounding 'ha ha ha ha ha', my skin was crawling to escape and I couldn't handle it any longer. A lot of new comedy series are using it also. They should stop trying to make every single little comment a funny moment and please get a supposed live audience from somewhere else other than a nightmarish dream soundtrack.

  • Great History, Horrible Production

The movie was long and irritating. The Japanese attacks at the planes looked fake with way too many rounds spraying at our planes like something from a science fiction movie, and frankly I got tired of watching the American characters doing similar dive bombs where they wait till the very last minute and somehow manage to pull up in time with a gritty look on their faces, and the missiles still miss the target and into the ocean. Honestly, it looked like the Americans couldn't hit the broad side of a barn through most of the movie. Way overdone bullet sprays, way overdone dramatic dive bombs and boring drama made it a difficult watch.

  • One of My Favorite People Out on Learned Missions

Mr. Goldblum has always struck a positive vibe with me and it's a blast watching him get a brain worm and feeling the need to feed it. He's a unique fellow for sure and has created the perfect show to revolve around himself. I recommend all his episodes for education purposes and especially fond of the computer game one. He opens eyes, minds, and brains of anyone willing to partake the adventure with him in his quest for information and often times a new enlightenment.

Props to Bryce Dallas Howard who directed this episode. It was suspenseful, funny, and visually amazing.

  • Almost Great - Still the Out-of-Place Sillies

All in all, I'm happy to see this approach. the old west vibe works perfectly and the production visually enticing, however, enough of the overly childish dinks and donks when things hit and silly remarks from the main character. Neither fits this otherwise excellent series and keeps it from being perfect.

  • Tom Hanks, Not the Best Choice for the Role

I feel Tom Hanks got the gig because of who he is, not because he was the best choice for the role. There are great documentaries already which I recommend over this dull-fest.

  • Eh, Not Bad, Not Great

Despite the terrible unrealistic acts of the father being a total wimp, allowing his family to endure horror just because a woman has a pair of scissors and basically walking backwards & acting baffled by everything, it got a little better in that regard later in the movie. The ending was weak in my opinion.

I'm trying to enjoy the show more but the constant interruptions of commercials breaks the flow and tenseness of the story. Aggravating!

  • Gory Fun but Horrible Directing

I could enjoy this more if the Dr.s practiced what they preached, commanding everyone to wear all PPE including goggles yet within seconds studying a patient without goggles, later a body riddled with the issue yet without any protection whatsoever. Yeah, she's hot to look at but come on, don't be stupid about it. Another issue that grinds my brain was the repetitious "Go Go Go!" when peril approaches yet 15 + seconds later they're still in the same spot and still yelling 'Go Go Go!". Poor directing bugs me more than bad scripting or editing. I'll try to continue watching but possibly abandon it due to the still inherent in DC Universe productions horrible directing curse. Need to tighten things up DC Universe for viewers like myself who require more than mindless adventures.

It's not that the movie was bad. The general atmosphere Marvel is putting in their movies is becoming boring to me. Special effect wise, it was great, story wise, eh.

  • A Show More Worthy

This show is simple, clean, fun, silly, and refreshing. Many of the greatest sitcoms ever have that almost ridiculous laugh track, but it's part of the charm. If given the chance I think this show could go a long way and is necessary for our over-stressed lives. Relax, drink some lovely red and have an old-style laugh.

  • 12 Thumbs Up From the McCoys!

I just finished my second viewing, this time with the family. Everyone loved it. The movie has to spend about half of it's running time getting you accustomed to their culture, which is a good thing, but it does keep things at a slower, issue-filled pace but starts building up steam past that halfway point with an ending that is gorgeous, emotion filled, and left us happy, amazed, and satisfied! 12 thumbs up from the McCoys!
