Oscar has an extensive experience as an actor throughout his professional career. In childhood he lived in a small town with just over 70,000 inhabitants in Alagoas (Northeast of Brazil). Began his acting career in Juiz de Fora - MG (BR), where he made many important and significant works.
Years later, he received awards for best playwright and best actor (Festival Internacional de Teatro de Ouro Preto - MG) and in 2003, he received 07 awards for best drama with the play "Memórias do Caos Humano".
Today he's been working on many personal projects, writing for theater and movies and acting in cine productions. He released the books "Sobre Homens e Abismos" (About Men and Abysm) and "O Corpo Marcado de Giz". In 2011, for your first publication, Oscar Calixto was named as corresponding member in the APALCA (Academy of the Letters, Sciences and Arts).
