  • Iron Man, Captain, Hulk, Thor - Great Movie!

Aside from The Dark Knight Rises, this was probably the most waited movie of the year, was it the movie of the year? No, but it was still fantastic. Up there, there's a not very certain rate of this movie, but here's a true review of this movie. The Avengers was not so good as I expected to be, that I can admit, but I still loved it, I admired that Joss Whedon did a great job with the characters screen time, it all had a balance, so no character seems distant, that was a very important element of the movie, and they succeeded at not blow it up, that was a great thing they did. The Avengers is the reunion of Marvel's greatest heroes (Yeah, unfortunately there's no Spider man, well, he's probably only amazing for them and they needed great), so this movie needed memorable action scenes. Well, along the movie, there's some great action scenes, but they can't be compared to what they saved for the end, it was almost 20 minutes of fantastic action scenes, featuring Iron Man (at his best), Thor, Captain America, The Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye. The special effects were tremendous, as they shoul be and they brought a very significant and pleasunt quantity of humour in this movie, that was really helpful and enjoyable.

Downey once again suits up as Iron Man, and he was amazing once again, bringing to the screen he's amazing sense of humour and smartness. Chris Evans wasn't at Donwey's same calibre, but he was still solid. Mark Ruffalo was amazing as The Hulk, his performance was very solid. Chris Hemsworth fired some good jokes along the movie, nothing more than that, I don't appreciate Thor that much. Scarlett Johansson was amazing and hot here as the Black Widow, which is a really strong character, by the way. Jeremy Renner was too distant, Tom Hiddleston wasn't an amazing choise to play the villain, Clark Gregg was great, Cobie Smulders was a surprise, I was seeing Robin turning into a serious secret agent, oh and L. Jackson was also great with his Nick Fury.

Overall, The Avengers is a great blockbuster, that didn't fail, Whedon's direction made this happening so good. Of course the story isn't amazing, they didn't care about an amazing story, only the union of these heroes. But The Avengers is not a perfect fairy tale, it also has its flaws, like, the long second act that was mostly placed at a submarine and weird enemies that bored he viewer when shown, but aside from that, The Avengers is a fantastic movie, that succeeds at uniting all these heroes together amazingly, it was amazing to seem all work together, The Avengers is not easily forgotten. Highly recommended, oh, and by the way geeks, this is the new geek porn.

  • Best Movie of All Time

Ted is the BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME! Why? Well, here we go. Seth MacFarlane, the genius guy that created the legendary Family Guy, with a sense of humor that blew everyone away, he also created American Dad and The Cleveland Show, and in these three shows, he voices multiple characters with very different voices and he's just amazing. Seth decided to bring his enormous talent to the big screen. Ted is MacFarlane's first motion picture, where he takes care of the directing, the writing and voicing the hilarious teddy bear. In the end of the year, people will think what was the best movie of 2012, some will say The Dark Knight Rises, some will say The Hobbit, some will say The Avengers, some will say 21 Jump Street and some others, some others like me will say Ted. Ted is a fantastic mash of one of my favorite TV shows Family Guy sense of humor with a very smart plot.

John is an 8 year old kid with no friends at all. One Christmas, his parents give him a teddy bear. He wishes for him to come alive. That wish comes true and 27 years later, John (Wahlberg) and Ted (MacFarlane) are still best friends, they live together and their favorite hobby is smoking pot and watching Flah Gordon. But, John's girlfriend Lori (Kunis) wants them to move on with their lives and get Ted out of the house. John and Ted's friendship will be tested.

No one would not like to see a movie which concept is about a talking teddy bear that swears all the time, smokes pot and has sex with lots of women, including Norah Jones. MacFarlane used Family Guy humor in here, my favorite type of humor and it worked even better in here cause he made this movie rated R (restricTED) and that way he could go even further with the dirty and politically incorrect humor, in this movie we even see a grown man punching a young kid, and only a MacFarlane project could have that. He brought other things from his show, like Mila Kunis (Meg), Patrick Warburton (Joe) and Alex Borstein) and they were all very well used. Now let's talk about the cast, which was a very solid element of the movie, Mark Wahlberg was a superb choice, he keeps surprising me, since The Other Guys, I knew he was amazing with comedy and in here, he was terrific, he just had to make his Bostonian accent have more encases and he had a great performance where he fires off jokes all the time. Mila Kunis, my favorite actress, was also a perfect choice to be the mature of this weird trio, she was very good here and she was also pretty funny and Seth MacFarlane is also amazing voicing Ted, making a voice that sounds a little like Peter Griffin's voice mashed with Brian Griffin's voice and the movie also had amazing cameos. The jokes, well, let me put it this way, Ted is probably the most hilarious movie I've seen, it's a laugh-a-minute movie and each joke is hilarious and I'm a person that usually doesn't feel comfy at laughing at a theater in front of everybody, but this time, I couldn't help it, and although it wasn't that loud, I did laugh a lot, and if I was at home, the windows would break. Botttom line is, if you love Family Guy and MacFarlane's humor, you'll love Ted, it's a heart warming and also raunchy hilarious movie that I just loved, well, let me say it again: TED IS THE BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME.

Frank: You think you got what it takes?

Ted: I'll tell you what I got.Your wife's pussy on my breath.

Frank: Nobody has ever spoken to me like that before.

Ted: That's because their mouths were full of your wife's box.

    Frank: You're hired.

    Ted: Sh*t.
