The Cheech Show

  • The Cheech "FANTASTIC" Show...

You know that feeling when you watch a fantastic movie for the first time and you walk out of the cinema feeling like there was nothing better you could spend that $8 on?

    That was what I felt...

Cheech Marin, Jackee Harry, all performed to their best. Unexpected turns, funny-awkward moments and even sometimes scary!

But for me the finest actor was Bruce Vilanch. 1988, he wasn't well known, but this was the turning point in his career. Bruce Vilanch was a hilarious, "out of this world", funny guy and went into this program very well. In fact without him, in my opinion, this show would have been terrible.

Jack Shea was a brilliant director as all ways. (Goes without saying) Soundtrack was incredible.

In a perfect world people would not look back on the 80s as a world full of awful music but would see this film, Shining in the darkness, Making the 80s what they were. A film makers dream.

Sadly people are not like this today... Thanks

  • Honestly, awful.

Albert Ainsworth, is the captain of the US Red Rhino ship. His mission to stop Russians from attacking the US. This movie is primarily about a love of his called Susan Hamish, about how they meet, how they love and hey they are separated. The adventure takes you across the world to find each other again. But nothing goes to plan.

It sounds good, but it is just awfully bad. The acting is awful, Michael Jenkins for me gave the worst acting of the century. The only thing that would have made this better if it wasn't made at all.

    57 minutes of pain. Don't watch. 3 out 10. 1 star.

    Warning: contains sexual scenes

  • Extremely Underrated

Before I first saw this film, I thought it would be, in honest truth terrible. The reason I saw this was because my brother recommended it to me, and I have also had something for dramas. Most will agree that Jeremy Irons in a fantastic actor, this was by far one of his greatest performances.

The movie begins with a sad, but wonderful love story, with Mr Thornsworth loses his wife after battling with cancer. What makes it brilliant is the speech he makes during the funeral. But I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

The movie is only an hour long, but the acting makes up for that. I recommend this film to anyone who loves dramas and romance.
