I watched this movie couple times, then showed it to my young wrestler son who struggles at time about the meaning to sportsmanship and the true meaning behind personal achievement in this sport.
It's great to follow the story of his childhood years. And followed the years in college all the way to graduation. Lots of good wrestling actions, coaches talks, trials and tribulations.
The ending of the movie is great. Trenge goes on to earn in degree, and remains active in the sport to help other kids in sports and education. That's the ultimate achievement.
This movie is well put together. The story is of someone striving toward his personal best. Support also from his family, his coach, his team, Lehigh administration and his community. The message it delivers is universal.
