I am a screener for a festival and I had the opportunity to watch this film for review.
The Deposition is dark and will be difficult to program, but it is a GREAT LITTLE FILM... You really can't tell it was made for 20,000. I have seen many million dollar pics look worse.
If you have a chance and want to see a dark, truly indie film - go check out The Deposition.
My favorite aspect is the direction. A constant slow, moving camera with great music and effects.
Chuck Brodsky, a North Carolina musician did all of the original music. It's some of the best folk music I have heard in a film.
Loved this film!
