All Grown Up! (2003)
Worthy effort overall on a creative idea
I think "All Grown Up" was a creative idea, taking the "Rugrats" show in
a
new direction, making them all 10 years older. It was interesting to see
how all the characters evolved.
Even though the guys are all had some personality changes, they're all
pretty much the same as they always were and still friends.
The only downside is everyone (with the exception of Dil and Phil) is
trying
too hard to fit in, like most preteen/teen show. I would have liked to
see
more of them trying to go after their aspirations and pursue more hobbies
or
something, rather than trying really hard to make people like
them.
Overall this was a good effort and had some funny material.
My Life as a Teenage Robot (2002)
Why even bother?
I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks Nickelodeon is turning into a piece of crap network with retard shows. The only fairly cool shows that are still on are "Hey Arnold!" and "SpongeBob Squarepants." Let's take a look at some of the shows that have come out on Nick over the past few years:
Wild Thornberry's - SUCKED
As Told by Ginger - SUCKED
Oh Yeah! Cartoons - SUCKED
Off-shoot of Oh Yeah! Cartoons, "My LIfe as a Teenage Robot" - SUCKED!!!!!!!!
Give me a frikin break who wants to watch a show about a crime fighting mechanical piece of bull crap anyway? Somebody seriously needs to give Nickelodeon a reality check. Nick needs to start fixing their crap messes that they already have, instead of making more of them, (which will probably screw the network for life)
Drumline (2002)
Nickelodeon didn't ruin Nick Cannon
Drumline is a great movie for anybody to see. I especially like it because I am a "band nerd" but that's ok. I would like it anyway; it has it's funny parts, it's serious parts, and I am still wondering how they found so many awesome drummers, (and other musicians for that matter!)
Because of this movie, I now have some respect for Nick Cannon as an actor. I'm glad he finally starred in a great movie for all ages, and is no longer confined to piece of crap kids sketch comedy shows on Nickelodeon, [which, by the way, SUCKS as of late (i.e. My life as a teenage robot, slimetime, ginger)]
Overall, great movie, great job by Nick Cannon.
