Bugs Bunny is demonstrating in a department store window. He is a working rabbit for the carrot. The store manager transfers him to the Taxidermy department to get stuffed. He slowly realizes the problem. He has to escape from the manager and avoid his predicament.

This is a perfectly good Bugs Bunny cartoon. The only problem is the store manager. I don't know this character. He seems like a stock character type. I would exchange him for Elmer Fudd or Daffy Duck or others. That would work better in this role. That would make this perfect. As it stands, this is pretty good for Bugs against a nobody.

Elmer Fudd is reading a book to hypnotize any dumb animal for hunting. He is confronted by an angry bear and hypnotizes the bear. He then encounters Bugs Bunny. He tries to hypnotize Bugs, but it doesn't work. Instead, Bugs hypnotizes him and turns him into a rabbit. Surprisingly, Bugs is now the one being outwitted.

Instead of Elmer crying and Bugs agreeing to be hypnotized, Bugs should steal Elmer's book and learns to hypnotize. That would work better in many ways. Otherwise, I like the turnaround against Bugs Bunny. That is often a great twist in a Bugs cartoon. I just need that little bitty change.

Bugs Bunny is adrift at sea in a barrel. He lands on the island of Bingzi-Bangzi. A sign reads Land of the Ferocious Apes. They are more well-read than most apes. A wife ape is distressed with the stork not visiting her. She finds Bugs in a barrel and assumes that he's her new baby. At first, he objects, but she starts crying. He relents and plays the part to appease her. The husband ape is not so taken.

I don't really like Bugs tricking the female ape. I understand it, but he does need a better escape plan. I don't think he has an escape plan. I like my Bugs trickery to be against more deserving opponents.
