I wasn't expecting that much based on the Nott that Great reviews on IMDb. But I have to say I really enjoyed this movie and I find it difficult to find fault with it. Sure, it's not the greatest movie but it was really enjoyable entertaining and well acted.

For me, it just worked out really well. I found it funny and quirky and a good time. I take issue with the way a lot of people dumped on it - but that's OK, those are their opinions, and I'm glad I watched it. I liked the story/premise, the execution, the acting, and the dialog.

You really can't go wrong with Kathy Bates, first of all. She's always gonna be funny. And Diane Keaton is adorable.

This was a really fun movie and also serious. Really well done and the acting was great. You just can't miss with Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda. How they stay so consistently at the top of their games amazes me. I really enjoyed the storyline too. I'd recommend this movie. Can't believe this is the Malcom McDowell from the Clockwork Orange days but he's really good too of course.

This is an interesting story with great scenery, great acting, and great casting. I started the movie thinking "well, if it doesn't go anywhere, I can always watch something else" but I was engaged the entire time. Really great!

First of all, forgive me because I didn't even know about Henry Golding before this movie, and he was charming and witty and his character was great. I had no idea what to expect with this movie, and it blew me completely away. Loved the characters, the storyline, the acting, and of COURSE, the music. You don't have to love George Michael to love this movie but if you ARE a George Michael fan, then this movie will appeal to you even more. Really enjoyed that aspect of it.

Emilia Clarke - whom I'd also never seen before - was just adorable and did an OUTSTANDING job. I mean, there's very little not to like here but she stole the show and she was great with Henry Golding. Characters, as I mentioned, were great and cast well chosen. Michelle Yeoh, Emma Thompson, they were all great.

I don't want to say any more to spoil anything. Let's just say I understand why so MANY people rated this so highly.

It touched me, and it became a movie we'll watch every year now and maybe not even necessarily only at Christmastime.
