With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess is a tale of resilience and redemption, weaving a narrative that is as captivating as it is poignant. In a world where betrayal and heartache are constant companions, the protagonist rises from the ashes of her past with unwavering determination. Her journey is one of self-discovery and empowerment, as she navigates the complexities of justice and forgiveness. Along the way, she encounters allies and adversaries who challenge her beliefs and test her resolve. As the layers of her story unfold, readers are drawn into a rich tapestry of emotion and intrigue, experiencing the highs and lows of a saintess who is both broken and unbreakable.
Monster presents a historically inaccurate portrayal of Ed Gein. The only factual element was his name; he indeed exhumed graves, and he passed away at an old age. HE DID NOT HAVE SEX WITH CORPSES. Adeline Watkins did exist for those who say she didn't; they didn't portray her accurately. The show demonized the victims, turning their stories into a grotesque spectacle. Furthermore, the depiction of Alfred Hitchcock was unsettling, as the actor appeared to be wearing a fat suit, making the portrayal unrealistic and distasteful.
I approached this series with excitement, but I was quickly put off by the first episode. Despite my initial disappointment, I continued to watch, only to find my dissatisfaction growing. It's misleading to label this as "the story of Ed Gein," as it fails to genuinely tell his story. Additionally, the casting for Ed Gein was poor; the actor's performance fell flat and was difficult to watch. While he excelled in Sons of Anarchy, he simply did not embody the role needed for this character. Overall, this season has likely tarnished the entire series.

My husband and I intended to attend this film, but instead, we chose to watch "Demon Slayer" for the second time. In hindsight, I'm thankful for that decision, as this particular installment is likely the weakest in the series. The first and second films remain the standout entries in "The Conjuring" franchise. The pacing felt sluggish, and the plot was quite lacking. Instead of focusing on Lorraine and Ed Warren, the story centered around their daughter, a character I honestly didn't connect with. Had the filmmakers maintained the focus on the Warrens in this film and the previous one, perhaps it wouldn't have been the last installment. Also, I love Vera and she is my favorite actress but I feel as though they didn't write her character properly as she doesn't stand out as a power medium in this movie like the others.
