I was really curious to see what this series had to offer and whether it would all just be a bromance in the end.

Don't get me wrong: I like bromance too, and I have some of these series in my absolute favorites. But like probably many other people who like BLs, I find that Chinese bromance, in particular, isn't enough for me at some point. :D And what can I say? BL fans will definitely NOT be disappointed! Quite the opposite!

It's really great that it's not just another Chinese bromance. Chinese series can take stories with gay content to a whole new level. I'd love to see more of them.

So far, I've thoroughly enjoyed the story (10/24). Despite the long episodes, it never gets boring. Instead, you're happy that it's not over yet and that it's a BL with many exciting episodes. Both the main and supporting couples are great to watch, and you want to know what happens next for both couples.

This series has great potential to remain in my top 3 BL series! Have fun watching.

I was extremely skeptical about the first two episodes. At first, I didn't understand the hype surrounding the live-action manga adaptation. It took a while for me to warm up to the actors and immerse myself in the story. But then, it went ~ BOOM! :D Super good! What a fantastic performance from Boom. He captivated me. A little more with each episode. And I also liked Smart more and more as the story progressed. Both actors developed tremendously throughout the series. I really enjoyed it.

Now.. there have been quite a few headlines surrounding Smart (as of May 2025)... Since I'm not familiar with the manga/anime, I'd say it was a fantastic season, and personally, I wouldn't have necessarily expected there to be more seasons in the future. I've read that the manga/anime probably have more content, and therefore there's potential for another season, though probably without Smart. I'm not a big fan of suddenly changing actors - and especially main protagonists - in the middle of a story. I don't know if it would be good for the series to continue with a new couple, or if it's better to just leave it at this one - truly fantastic - season. I hate cliffhangers at the end of a series/season. I didn't get that impression at the end of this series, which is why you should definitely watch TopForm and, in my opinion, it can happily stick with this one season.

Smart and Boom - as Jin and Akin - were a fantastic gay couple. Thanks for this great series and entertainment! : ) I wish both actors all the best for their future.

I like the story because one of the main protagonists is deaf and mute. The role is played very authentically, and you can feel the emotions he's going through. I haven't seen sign language addressed often in films or series before. Therefore, I think it's really well done and an important, special topic.

The protagonist's anger and insecurity about his deafness are well camouflaged by his optimistic demeanor toward others. It's beautiful how sensitively the topic is handled and how tenderly feelings reveal themselves little by little, and how trust is built between the two men. Both main protagonists go through a nice development.

I also liked the second gay couple in the story. So I will say - it's a must see. : )
