The episode was truly beautiful.
I admit that the fight between Eddie and Buck was brutal-intense, raw, and filled with all the emotions that had been building up for so long. It was almost like watching two forces of nature collide, both stubborn and passionate, unable to fully express everything they feel with words, so it all came out in that explosion of emotions. But even though it was hard to watch, it was necessary. Sometimes, the only way to clear the air is through the storm, and that's exactly what happened between them. That fight served as a breaking point, a moment where everything unsaid was finally laid bare, paving the way for healing and understanding.
What came after was simply perfect. I loved how the family they have built was finally consolidated. It wasn't just about Eddie and Buck patching things up; it was about solidifying the bond that had been growing stronger over time, bit by bit, moment by moment. Buck's place within that family was clearer than ever. He's not just a friend, not just a colleague-he's family. He belongs there, right beside Eddie and Christopher, like a pillar that holds everything together. As a long-time viewer of 9-1-1, I'm deeply disappointed by the direction the series has taken in its eighth season, especially after episode 16. Bobby's death wasn't just an emotional blow - it was a clear sign that the people behind the show have stopped valuing their connection with the audience. Bobby wasn't just another character; he was the heart of the series, and the way his death was handled felt cold, lacking the emotional depth and narrative care he deserved.
