The surrealist humor that this show brings is so refreshing in the age of cookie cutter sitcoms, revivals, and reality tv. At times I felt as though I was watching interdimentional cable from the show Rick and Morty. The writing is so creative and imaginative in a way that's both nonsensical yet makes sense at the same time. It pokes fun at the absurdity of the modern era in a fun and interesting way that does not feel self important. Overall an incredible watch that I recommend to anyone with a love for the absurd and surreal. I hope that HBO allows Julio Torres to create another season or more projects in the future because I am just itching for more.
