Any one of these movies can be used in a debate about speciesism (the discrimination of other species by humans) and anthropocentrism (the belief that humans are the center of the world). In some, we have an inversion of roles, with humans no longer being the dominant species - interestingly, a terrifying prospect for most people, showing how they're aware of the cruelty imposed upon animals by humans. In others, we have an exposure of how the domination of non-human animals is cruel and unjustified.
