The beginning was tantalizing. We find Mike working bartending gigs in Miami, Florida & he gets RECOGNIZED from his previous profession. Mike then gets hired for a six thousand dollar dance, which turns into a little more... The middle was a snooze fest. Mike gets whisked away to London for a sixty thousand dollar payday for a month of work doing what - he has no idea.... Turns out to be directing a dance show, to get back at an ex & his family. Which all leads to the big build up of will the show actually go on as planned? The last dance was pretty phenomenal intercut with scenes from the beginning of the film. But meh. Rewatching the original would have been more entertaining!!
Sing 2 oh Sing 2. Where do I start. Not better than the original - no way, no how. We saw the first film in the theater and absolutely loved it. The music was fantastic! The story not so much. I even found a few of the characters to be grating.
This is a children's film and the wolf repeatedly threatens to drop Buster off the skyscraper?!? We might have been better off if this script stayed in the drawer.
My advice would be to skip watching this film. Go and rewatch the first one. But DO listen to the soundtrack! Dance, singalong, and enjoy the tunes. Fantastic job to the folks that arranged the songs for the film.

Beauty & the Beast themed Christmas movie. Shirtless "prince" running around, cute dog named "Beast". IsaBELLE lover of rare books & libraries. Irritating Gaston trope character Tony. It was a cute movie, but could have been much better!
