This is the first animal attack movie which I remember, where I nearly peed my pants as a kid! This grizzly is as bad as it gets.
The movie is on a thin line of a trash movie and that's what gives this film a special charm today!
I watched it later as an adult, and still love it.

After I watched the first episode, I can say that this could look very close to the original series.
The first episode didn't give us an epic opening, as some of the reviewers would have liked, and that's why they give a bad rating
But you have to wait for at least the first 5 episodes to make a good judgement.
The casting may not be as strong as in GOT, but hey, some of them will become real stars after the first season! I think they should be given a chance.

5 stars for me, but only for the VFX and sound effects which are great! Story, casting, acting and the rest is for 1 star. I wasn't expecting anything deep when I went to the cinema, but the way the film is presented, scripted and directed is almost amateurish. It's on the thin line to become a B movie.
But hey B-movie with the budget of 150mil?? I could say this is probably Roland Emerich's worst movie. Tooo bad.
